It is an issue of School Boards and Provincial Government funding to construct Public or Separate Schools in our province.

Having said that, here are some ideas for potential partnerships for these facilities, which could include the private/public sector partnerships that might promote sports facilities/equipment, i.e. Spalding or Cooper may exchange the cost of providing a gymnasium for the company name on the gym along with equipment purchase contracts; technology companies partner to provide computer or science labs; flooring companies submit carpet or hard surface coverings for durability testing.

I would work to achieve the site selection and infrastructure servicing with neighborhood input on preferred sites, ensuring sufficient transportation access from West end neighborhoods.

I ask this question to taxpayers/public and separate school supporters - are you prepared to entertain the idea of a larger more efficient structure to house two school systems if it means saving money and an earlier completion date?

Could the facility be jointly used with other groups?
